Comment: I have just purchased this item for christmas. The set-up went smooth, with good directions. It took a little while to figure out the s-air system. Now that is is all hooked up to the cable, it is a really nice system. I also have wireless internet and they both have no problems with each other.

Comment: I ordered this system as a Christmas for my significant other. We had purchased a new tv and his old system didn't work well with the Sony Bravia LCD television we purchased. The system was very easy to connect. The wires are all color coded so that you can easily plug the wires into the system. Granted the rear speakers are not 100% wireless it is still great not to have wires running from the front of the room to the rear. These speakers plug into a unit at the back of the room which wirelessly receives from the main unit. The seperate speaker that can moved from location to location is also great. My SO just loves the quality of the sound from this system. We would recommend this system to anyone looking for a newer system. Yes, you can get better if you want to pay thousands of dollars for it but for the average home this is a great system.

Comment: Product arrived faster then I expected and I ordered standard shipping, got to me way before Christmas which was good! The product is a refurbished surround / all in one home theater system. Price was great, product works great too. For the average family/viewers the set works great-
So A+ for the company that shipped it. The item was refurbished but I couldn't tell the different not a scratch and everything looked brand new!
The only thing I didn't really like about the set itself, is that the novice installer will need an optic cable to connect their cable box to the receiver to get surround sound from your cable/satellite box. It also does not come with any audio cables if you need extra of those.
Also, the theater system comes with an auto calibration microphone to automatically set the DB level of each speaker. Although this is "ok" at best, I recommend going into the settings yourself and setting the DB level by hand because each person's living area is different.
As far as the wireless system goes I've had no interference with my internet or cell phones etc. I don't have a home phone so I can't provide insight on that. The wireless system worked immediately and was a no brainer.
The speakers are all color coded so you know which cables go to which speakers.
Took my brother and I about 1-1.5 hours to install the entire system, most of the time spent unpacking all the items. All in all about 2 hours from start to finish. Not bad, considering we know absolutely nothing about setting up a home theater system :)
If you can get this system on sale I highly recommend it.

Comment: I was looking for an inexpensive surround sound system for a 2nd TV. I picked this system up at a great price, and I have found it to be worth every penny. Set up was a snap, and the wireless system came on-line without any issues. Sound is much, much better than I expected for a sub $500 system, so I am quite pleased.
Note that I am using this system in a smaller room. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have the horsepower to light up a large room, but if I were looking for another system of this size, I'd buy the DAVHDX576WF without a second thought.
